Are you an existing Sage 50 Accounts user? Are you thinking about upgrading? If the answer to these questions is “Yes”, it is advised anyone who may wish to upgrade does so before 31 July 2014 to avoid a high price increase.
Sage 50 Accounts 2015
From 1 August 2014 Sage will be launching the new version of Sage 50 Accounts.
For existing users who may wish to upgrade, on a ‘like for like’ basis, from an existing supported version… i.e. v2011, v2012, v2013 or v2014 to Sage 50 Accounts 2015, the upgrade only costs are as follows (RRP):

Sage 50 Accounts £315 £536
Sage 50 Accounts Plus £455 £819
Sage 50 Accounts Professional £600 £1,140
Any quote given by Sage is valid for 30 days from the date it is received.
From 1st August Sage will also be changing the way they charge for their software and will be offering a choice of the current perpetual licence option or payment via subscription.
For new purchases we will be able to provide an option to purchase the software on a perpetual licence, similar to how it is done now or on a monthly subscription. Unfortunately we are unable to confirm the exact prices for these until after the 1 August 2014, it is hoped that these will not be dissimilar to the current costs (of purchasing a new licence or a Cover contract)
Any new orders for v2014, in the remainder of July, will be entitled to the next version free of charge when released next month.
From 1 August 2014 in order to have consistency across perpetual and subscription pricing, a number of like-for-like (version) upgrade prices are increasing at a rate higher than the usual annual price increase.
