Year on year growth sparks talent acquisition
Accountancy and business advisory firm MHA Moore and Smalley is investing in its future with the appointment of recent school and college leavers alongside their regular graduate intake. The firm is recruiting across its offices in Preston, Blackpool, East Midlands, Kendal, Kirkby Lonsdale, Lancaster, Liverpool, Manchester and Southport.
MHA Moore and Smalley’s intake of young professionals has seen a 25% increase since 2016 and the firm intend to increase this year on year. Following the recent intake, the firm currently has 90 young professionals that are studying for a qualification whilst working at MHA Moore and Smalley. These qualifications vary from ACA, ACCA, AAT and ATT/CTA.
Rebecca Coombes, HR Director at MHA Moore and Smalley says, “We want to help young professionals take their first steps into the world of work and ensure that they are able to earn a salary and achieve a professional qualification at the same time. We can do that by funding their exam support and offering time for training support both on and off the job.
Here at MHA Moore and Smalley we strive to create an environment where people can enjoy stimulating, rewarding and flexible careers. Everyone in the MHA Moore and Smalley family has the chance to thrive and grow both professionally and personally.”
The year on year growth of the accountancy practice has enabled more opportunities for young professionals to join the firm and this is expected to continue in the forthcoming years.
MHA Moore and Smalley have recently launched a video to showcase the practice and why they should be considered as an employer of choice. This video can be found on the careers page of the firms website.
