Moore and Smalley joins Southport Comedy Festival line-up
Local accountancy and business advisory firm Moore and Smalley has signed up to support the Southport Comedy Festival for the third year running.
Moore and Smalley will be one of several corporate sponsors for the annual event which will take place October 5-22 at venues across Southport.
It is early days in the scheduling, but big name comedians already signed up for the festival this year include Jason Manford, whose shows have already sold out and ‘sarcasm in a suit’, Paul Sinha, from The Chase.
Danny Houghton, partner at Moore and Smalley’s Southport office, said: “The past two years at Southport Comedy Festival have been so entertaining.
“The event brings locals together and provides a real boost for the town’s economy. It’s exciting to be a part of it.”
Brendan Riley, comedian and organiser of the Southport Comedy Festival, added: “Year on year, the comedy festival gets bigger and better, we already have sold out shows and the full line-up hasn’t been announced yet, we can feel the excitement building.
“The support and generosity of businesses such as Moore and Smalley keep the festival going and it’s great to have them back on board for 2017.”
Headline acts from across the world of comedy have made the past years at Southport Comedy Festival a fantastic success and this year will be no different.
Acts performing at this year’s festival include, Jo Caulifield, Patrick Monahan, Gary Delaney, Tom Binns, Jason Byrne and Robin Ince to name a few.
