MHA Moore and Smalley’s staff walk 10km for Queenscourt Hospice in Southport
MHA Moore and Smalley’s staff members from our various northern offices have come together to raise money for the Southport based charity Queenscourt Hospice.
Queenscourt Hospice is a local charity that provides support for the people of West Lancs, Southport and Formby. They care for patients with far advanced and progressive life limiting illnesses to ensure they will have access to the best possible specialist palliative care, should they require it.
The walk took place at night, starting at Casablanca, Southport Pleasureland at 8:30pm. From there, their journey would take them through the lively and beautifully lit landscape of Southport’s centre, finally ending back at Southport Pleasureland.
A huge congratulations are in order, as the team managed to raise £920 (+ gift aid).
Ben Gilbert said, “It was an honour to take part in the Queenscourt Hospice Star Trekk Night Walk and raise money for such a worthy cause. All staff managed to complete the course and had a great time. We are already making plans for next year’s event”
