MHA Moore and Smalley raised over £250 for National Payroll Week

National Payroll Week is a national initiative that is established to raise the profile and awareness of payroll in the UK. This years National Payroll Week took place from 3rd – 7th September.

Our 20 strong payroll team used this week to highlight the work that they do along with raising money for local charities.

On Tuesday 4th September, the Preston and Lancaster offices enjoyed various payroll quizzes, games and a buffet that were put on by the MHA Moore and Smalley payroll team. Blackpool celebrated on Thursday 6th and Southport and Kendal had their fun and games on Friday 7th.

The Space Centre was one of the designated charities for the funds raised by MHA Moore and Smalley. The Space Centre is the largest and most versatile multi-sensory environment in the UK for anyone with special needs which enables life skills to be developed through structured and educational programmes.

Another charity that MHA Moore and Smalley raised money for through National Payroll Week was Lancashire Mind, specifically Shine for Sian. Mind work collaboratively within communities utilising peer support and asset-based approaches to overcome barriers to mental wellbeing.

Thank you to everyone that kindly donated and took part in celebrating National Payroll Week. MHA Moore and Smalley raised a total of £252.
