MHA Moore and Smalley donates IT equipment to St. Bede’s Academy

As part of our approach to ESG we have donated 25 desktop computers to St Bede’s Academy in Bolton to be repurposed within their school.

The new equipment will directly benefit the staff and pupils in both the academy and the childcare charity. Additional desktops in classrooms will be used by Teaching Assistants within the class to help with planning and working with groups of children. They are also hoping to set up mini-IT suites in the nurseries for the younger years. Our donation will also allow pupils to continue their schoolwork at home.

We have previously donated IT equipment to the Academy Trust, which has been used for the Recovery Intervention Assistants. These are tutoring small groups of children to catch up from lost learning during covid.

Sarah Bagshaw, Chief Executive Officer of St Bede’s said “We are so grateful for the generosity of Christine Wilson, Nicola Mason, and the team.  The equipment they have donated to us has been so useful whilst we continue to ensure our children receive the best education even during the pandemic.”

We are proud to support such a wonderful cause and to make a difference to the community.
