Accountants raise over £58,000 for local charities in less than 12 months
Moore and Smalley, Charted Accountants and Business Advisers have, over the last financial year, managed to raise over £58,000 for local charities and communities across the North West and East Midlands.
Employees at Moore and Smalley have adopted the ‘Putting Something Back’ initiative, introduced in 2013, and have once again delivered on their promise to give time and energy to support local charitable causes.
2016 saw an array of cakes sales, sporting events and quiz nights, but also involvement with one of Lancashire’s leading fundraising dinners, the star-studded Butterfly Ball where guests were joined by Britain’s Got Talent judge, Alesha Dixon.
Putting Something Back (PSB) Ambassador, Stephen Gregson, commented ‘Putting something back and doing the right thing is an integral part of Moore and Smalley’s values and the dedication and commitment of each and every one of our employees speaks volumes. The energy, enthusiasm and willingness of our employees is incredible, and ultimately the success of the PSB initiative lies with them.’
Since the initiative was launched, the firm has raised close to £75,000, and show no signs of slowing down in 2017, if anything, the figure will only continue to rise.
