Bob Trunchion – Tax Partner

Whilst Bob qualified in the audit department of a big four firm, he soon moved to their Corporation Tax Department, His move to MHA in 1985 has rounded off his knowledge so that he is well versed in all aspects of tax. As well as advising clients on a consultancy basis, Bob is mainly involved in heading up tax training both in the firm and in our specialist training arm. He also spearheads the firm’s offering in training non financial managers and directors in understanding accounts (Financial Training Services) on all manner of transactions. Whilst he is deeply involved in training, he has appeared on national radio and television talking about IHT. Bob believes that simple solutions are often the best ones with taxation.

Neil Parsons  – Director – Head of Financial Reporting Advisory and Company Law

Neil joined MHA on 6 April 2020 as the Director and Head of Financial Reporting Advisory and Company Law and is responsible for client facing financial reporting project work and company law matters related to all forms of company reporting. Neil helps clients of all sizes (including large listed companies) cut through the complexities of financial reporting so as to provide technically and commercially solutions which are understandable. His solutions are delivered through simple advice, training, detailed project implementation or via expert written reports.

Paul Winrow – Technical Partner

Paul is a Technical Partner at MHA having recently joined the firm from Baker Tilly International where he was Global Director of Professional Standards. In his role at Baker Tilly International he was responsible for the development and roll-out of our Global Focus methodology across the network, in addition to providing wider technical support and delivering the global audit quality program.

Paul has over 25 years’ experience of audit and assurance with a number of big 4 and mid-tier accounting firms, including 10 years’ in technical roles, the last six of which have been spent in the head office of major Global accounting networks.

Alex Kelly – Partner

Alex Kelly joined the firm in 2019 as an Audit Partner working in MHA’s Manchester Office. He has developed and honed his skill set over several years with top ten audit firms. Alex’s experience is predominantly working with large owner managed businesses through to PE backed corporate entities across a number of sectors and international territories
